How it works

Mizani never holds your money — you keep it, on mobile money, in the bank, or in your own hands. The app just keeps your picture clear, so you always know what you're worth. Here's the rhythm; goals, budgets and a household view all work the same private way.

  1. 01

    Add what you have

Your savings, land, livestock or business — and what you owe. A balance and a name is enough to begin; it takes a minute.

  2. 02

    See your net worth

Assets minus debts, in one honest number — with a chart that shows how it's changing over time.

  3. 03

    Set goals and a budget

Pick a target to save toward, plan the month, and see whether you're on pace — not just hoping.

  4. 04

Share a household view, if you like

Link with your partner to pool a household net worth from the items you each choose — while the rest stays private to you.

Common questions

Does Mizani hold my money?
No. Your money stays yours — in your bank, on mobile money, or in your own hands. Mizani keeps the picture of what you're worth, never the cash.
Is my money private?
Yes. Everything you add is private to you. The only way anyone else sees a thing is if you link a partner and mark that item as shared — and you can unlink any time.
What if I save in a group or SACCO too?
The savings, shares and loans you hold in a chama or SACCO show up read-only in your personal net worth, so your whole picture is complete — without any extra work.
Do I have to enter every transaction?
No. Start with a balance and a few assets — that's enough to see your net worth. Add detail like deposits and revaluations whenever you want a fuller history.
Is it free?
Yes. Tracking your personal savings, assets, net worth and goals is free to start and free to use.
