Goals That Stick

Lesson 3 of 3

Stack the habit so it runs itself

The strongest habits are not the ones you remember to do — they are the ones attached to something that already happens. This is called an anchor.

"I will try to save sometime" fails. "The moment my MoMo alert beeps, I move 10,000 to my goal" works — because the beep becomes your reminder. Hook your saving onto an event you cannot miss: payday, the cash from a sale, the day pocket money lands.

Then protect your streak. A run of weeks where you saved on time becomes its own motivation — break it and it actually stings, so you do not. It is the same reason you hate losing a daily streak in an app or game.

And here is the part that ties everything together: in Mizani a savings streak is not just a feel-good number. Saving consistently is real proof you are reliable — and it lifts your Credit standing too (remember Your Invisible Score). One small habit, two big payoffs: a growing pot and a rising score. So set a Goal in Mizani, choose a saving rhythm you can actually keep, and anchor it to the day money reaches you. Keep the streak alive — your future self and your credit score will both thank you.
